Please join us for a short show dedicated to all the victims and families associated with the act of war perpetrated against the United States this morning. I think many songs may come out of this terrible tragedy.

Mudcatters from the North East US may want to forgo the show if they connect via telephone due to the heavy volume of the many people attempting to contact loved ones and emergency officials dealing with this ongoing issue. The circuits are very busy in the NorthEast US and we need to do our part to not cause any more trouble.

No, let's not bring any more gods into this, that's where all the trouble started. Please don't make any putative Moslem terrorists right (in their minds) by making us all look Christian. This is not supposed to be a Christian country and look where the appearance thereof has gotten us. Play This Land Is Your Land if you want to get patriotic, which is going to make more trouble than it's worth. This was a crime against humanity, it just happened here because we matter to humanity. I'd prefer What Have They Done To The Rain (Joan Baez once called it the gentlest protest song she knew).

marymac is right, all. You can't protect both individuals and individual rights, which are what this country is REALLY all about, and what makes it great. What we need is more emphasis on societal duty and less on individual rights...

Thanks for the show Max.......I'm sorry I wasn't in ICQ for the duration, but I enjoyed the sharing while I could.

Again, as many times before, I am thankful to you my friend for this fine place which has become another home for many of us. When I started the first thread this morning only the first tower had been hit. As we went through the day and I started parts 2, 3, and 4, I was once again happy to have so many wonderful people to share this terrible day with me. It's a sad day for us all, but a day made easier by the sharing of thoughts with fine folk, fine friends. You have much to be proud of in your life, but this community stands as a great accomplishment and should provide you, as it does us, with great satisfaction.
