Subject: RE: Tune Req: Italian Marching Band Music From: Jack Campin Date: 07 Jun 10 - 11:24 AM You find a fair few march tunes from Italian operas in Kerr's "Merry Melodies" (4-volume Scottish fiddle collection of the 1880s), in the section for random novelties from all over at the back of each volume. Or are you after full scores? |

If you do, then you might like the music on the remarkable 'ingeb' site. Under Italian, there are three songs that start with 'Marcia' and are probably marches. Or you could find some other likely tune there and play it like a march. Could 'Finiculi Finicula' be played as a march? http://ingeb.org/catitl.html |
