Subject: RE: NEWS for visitors wanting to play in UK

I have been to the "fax your MP" Website and faxed.

My M P is the magnificently "off-message" Bob Marshall-Andrews QC.

I have also emailed my fax to about 25 folk acquaintances for re-use - and also to Colin Green at the DCMS who I happen to know a bit.

Don't forget the threat is bigger than just to music in pubs. It's to dance and music everywhere in England - licensed premises, unlicensed ones, your house, and the streets and fields. See my post to the "Change music" thread.

Not read all of this thread or Shambles's other contributions on the legislative front. But I've been meaning to point out for some time that live music is alive and well in the pubs of Noprthern Ireland. I suspect that the thread title is misleading and that the legislation will apply only in England or maybe England and Wales. In Northern Ireland, abortion is still illegal except to save a mother's life, and is likely tto remain so since it suits the christians of both camps.

England and Wales.

The Irish Law on abortion is an affront to civilisation.

As is all oppposition to good sex lives.
